ooh mable , bet you were cross, incompetance in the paperwork/admin side of things is just rubbIsh, there is no excuse.. (sorry I 've alwnays been some kind of administrator with my jobs! so it bugs me too!).

Really glad youve got your private scan, id do the same , but do take them up on the 13 plus on in jan too, more scans the better

Hi bab just had a read through I would wait for your scan the downs testing ext can get done upto 16 weeks some people don't even get their scan till 14 weeks its just called a "12" week scan as it used to be procedure to have it at 12 weeks but its all changed now. They don't check for anything else other than measurements of whole baby and heart beat any more then the downs bit if you want it done xxx

But I too would be extremely pissed off if they messed me around like that. I've had early scans at around 10 ish weeks before and always had a follow up "12" week scan x

Thanks for your comments ladies. Feeling calmer today. Called the private scan place got my bloods done today and will be having a scan on Friday so will be having the results on the day of the scan.
