Random water leak, so confused

Had what i thought were 3 contractions yesterday, one far apart and 2 in an hour but they stopped so shrugged thought uncomfortable BH. He wriggled like nuts all night/am. Head feels really down today.

Keen to get baby here really (avert your eyes) DTD with hubby like MW suggested.. was terribly uncomfortable and my tummy hurt (no more of that lol!) Hopped in the shower and went downstairs to potter round the kitchen. 30/45 mins later sat down on the sofa to rest and within 4 minutes "gush gush" thought what the hell and jumped up to save my sofa. Got to the loo and sure enough knickers and shorts soaked (nothing but wet).

So i initially thought shower water? cant go in if its that.. Havent weed myself cause well you'd know and it was 2 gushes. Got a pad on and rang my ward. Mw gets me in and cervix is closed..

What the actual hell? I'm wracking my brains.. shower water? Would of made more sense with a bath and i bath nearly every day with nothing (I took the shower off but it was just a quick all over and out) and I was up and down sitting/standing in my kitchen afterwards for 45 minutes and dry as a bone.

Can this happen if things are closed? I'm so embarressed over this and I can't understand it. Anyone else leaked with a "closed" cervix?

Are you sure you didnt wet yourself? you may not feel like you did as we all like to think we have some control over our bladders but at this late stage it does tend to happen.

Sure it came from other area and like woosh and woosh, I also went to the loo before shower. I know what youre saying though, i have been wretching /sick so hard last tri and accidentally wet myself but that was very little and has its destinct smell.

Thats why i thought shower but ive never had it before. Puzzled me

Been getting that anyway but it was like bath water had got stuck inside? TMI but It was all water tiny bit of pinky/white discharge on top thought maybe i got irratated.

I told my MW anyway as she popped over today, she thinks maybe back waters and I need to monitor it today. Just wondering if anyone had it happen before as it was quite a bit.

Well just to update this..

Never doubt yourself.. had a growth scan today and my waters have been slowly leaking like i thought and are down quite a bit. I am getting induced tomorrow. My consultant was a bit annoyed i hadnt been scanned after that.

Hopefully everything is ok, I was so embarressed i was flapping over nothing too.
