Well!

Just went to the local shop for some bread (in the car of course, I can't manage to get back up the drive afterwards these days) and the shop assistant just RANDOMLY said:

"Look, dear, I've had 6 children, and let me tell you, you have that look about you. You are going to have your baby imminently, probably this weekend"

Let's hope she's right, eh? I'm taking all predictions with a pinch of salt now though after my dad was HOPELESSLY WRONG (hurray!)...

  :rotfl: :rotfl: :cheer: :cheer: :cheer:
lets hope she is right! hehe, I wonder what that look is... do you feel any different? xxx

that's probably a lot of us going into labour imminently too! Lol

I asked cos i've been feeling a bit strange today and i can't put my finger on why! I can't even explain how i mean... but i don't think labour is imminent for me somehow. Lol. I'm just being hopeful!

there is a skin thing called pregnancy mask where cheeks get brown adn blotchy - but can happen couple of weeks before.

My mum is very good at predicting when people are going to pop by 'the look of their face' but she's been saying it about me for a week now and nothing

Hope she's right - she could make a mint if she is, non of that Madame Zaritska rubbish she might be the real deal :cheer: :cheer:

At least you got a postive one

I was in a store the other day and the woman on the checkout asked me when I was due and I said I was 36 weeks so due in 4 weeks or thereabouts. She then called over two much younger ladies oworking there and told them to take a good look at my bump as that would be them soon enough (both were in early pregnancy apparently). She then asked me, in front of them if I was expecting twins  Cheeky mare! I said no, only the one and she said 'O lots of fluid then?' I said 'no, just the one baby and normal fluid levels'. I then turned to look at the younger women who were looking aghast at this point and said 'It gets better, because baby just keeps growing till birth' and left laughing.

THAT IS SO RUDE!!!!!

I don't think I'd have reacted as well as you!!!

TBH its like water off a ducks back to me most of the time. Heaven help the insensitive cow who utters a quip or twins comment when my hormones are in overdrive though :rotfl: I'd leave them in shreds

I don't think I look that big tbh, but I'm tall, so I think of course to a lot of people I appear much bigger than they expect. A small pregnant woman stood next to me is dwarfed by my bump, but in relation to our bodies they are a fair size.

My bump rests over the counter in most stores :rotfl: If I wear heels its even worse, its like its inline with the checkout assistants face and ready to biff them one

I'm so jealous of you tall girls! I don't even look pregnant to most shop staff because my bump is all out front and hidden behind the counter!
