As some of you know im doing a raffle for lelands helmet appeal

ive got some prizes , most value at about £20 , some alot less and there may be more worth alot more , £50 or even more then that  on the whole , vouchers etc have been sent for £20 tho

so my question is , how much should i sell the tickets for ? how much would u pay for prizes like that ??

and if i was to do a seperate raffle for a special prize  worth £50 , what would u be willing to pay for that ? ( would be very usefull and loved by a pregnancy forum member if this raffle goes ahead  )

How many prizes have you got Gem and are they all going to be done in one raffle?

£1 is the norm but depending on the value of the prizes, you could say even £1.50 or £2?

im using them books not strips :D

was thinking £1 -£2 but i dunno lol

prizes still coming in , all info www.lelandplatt.co.uk

so far ....

Heart fm ( prizes to be announced )

Woolworths ( 2 x vtech toys disney winnie the pooh press & play learning board & alphabet art board)

B&Q Warehouse, bury rd , ipswich ( goods to be announced )

£20 gift voucher for pumpkin patch ( kids & maternity clothing )

2 x capital fm radios signed by johnny vaughan and lisa snowdon !

Shemagh shawl from FIZZYMELON.CO.UK (gifts for mums & baby inc teething necklaces and dummy savers! )

£20 raymens gift voucher

The postage on some of those will be quite high
I think £1 would be best. People who would like to give more will buy more tickets and people who might be put off buying at £2 might buy at £1. I'd go with an incentive to buy more though, like £1 each, 7 for £5 and 15 for £10.

I think Kalias idea sounds good !! People who want to can always donate more, and generally speaking i think people want to spend a certain amount of money, more than get a certain amount of tickets, so someone who would have spent £2 will just get more tickets, not give ya less pennies :D :D

am a lil worried about postage :wall: but what else can i do !! hopefully the tickets will fly out :rotfl: the one that will cost the most will be a drill from b&q thats not gonna be good , might have to try and delivery that another way !

so i recon ill do £1 a ticket and get them in books of 5 :cheer:

Might be to out there but could you contact the royal mail or one of the delivery services UPS etc to ask if they would give free delivery on the bulkier items?
There arent so many if you explain what its for and what the prizes are they may oblige.

Its worth a shot i suppose
