When do you form a mucus plug in pregnancy?

Just checked google, it is the early days of pregnancy!

I think it starts to form around the 5th day of your pregnancy then gradually gets thicker hun x x

Yep! It says it protects baby from infections etc. I would post the link but I'm on my phone. I think it's also why you get extra discharge during pregnancy x x

lol, i was wondering because i think i can see a second line yestoday and today im 11dpo and my cervix feel like theres a slit there so slightly open...im really worried i was wanting to know about the mucus plug because someone told me it may not feel closed completley but i would get a mucus plug protecting it ...im really worried xxx
