Question for the chart experts please!

This is only my 1st month charting, in fact only half month as I didn't get my thermo till late on! Anyways, I just wondered if someone could take a look and see if it looks like I may have ovulated when I think I did? I got a positive opk on the Saturday and ewcm on the Sunday. My temps had dropped and now rising, is this what is meant to happen - please help, I'm clueless with this.

On a separate point I have really tender nipples at the moment...is this a sign of ov as well?! As well, yesterday, I had about 2-3 mins of really intense period pain, but no AF arrived. What is going on with my bod????!!!

Hi Kel.
Your chart is hard to read as you haven't charted much this month hun. If you can, try and start as soon as AF arrives so you get a feel for your normal temp. But I'd say that it looks like you ovulated on the 24th or the 25th as it's your only readings there and you've had 3 rises after which is a good sign of ovulation. Are you a longer cycle length lady and is it possible you ov'd that late? And as for sore boobs, thats me down to a tee lol, cant stand the cold weather with it at the mo

Hi Kel, and welcome to the exciting world of charting!

I agree with Donna about the ovulation date. As long as your temps go up and keep going up (you may be a slow-riser), then it's likely that you've ovulated when you think you did. You don't necessarily have to have a temp dip before the ov, tho. The period pain was likely to be ovulation pain, which a lot of women get when the egg busts out of the ovum.

Oh, and yes, tender nipples...I get them too.

Thanks for the replies girls, I will go on the chartstalker thread when I start my next cycle - I had only just got the thermometer which is why I've only charted a few days. I am not sure how long my cycle is, it's a bit irregular since I came off the pill. To be honest up until September (when I had an early miscarriage), I don't even think I was ovulating, so I'm still waiting for things to get regular. Fingers crossed I ovulated this month and I can start having regular periods.
