question about the caption comps

ok from the caption comp last week we had about 6 entrys with the same caption. what i want to know is if people enter the same caption do you think it would be fairer to
allow only one person to have the caption i.e the first person who enters it gets it and the others who have the same have to change theirs
or
allow more than one person to have the caption and share the glory
