putting together nursery furniture tonight!

I am really excited but got to wait till OH gets home from work!!! and brings the cordless drill!

I have opened one of the boxes already and the colour is gorge!

CANT WAIT MUCH LONGER!! hehe xxxx

Brilliant, you must be well excited! I've just been stressing out about nursery furniture as I just don't seem to be able to find something I like at the right price and god knows times ticking away! Finally popped into Mamas & Papas today and they got an really good price on a 3 piece set that looks really good, so will discuss with OH tonight and fingers crossed I'll put my order in early next week, YIPPEE!! One less thing to worry about

aw your so lucky hun its exciting isnt it! i got mine delivered on monday but had to send it back as they sent lilac instead of white...pain in the ass! i wanted to wash all the babys clothes and get them all put away so i got a bit upset when it was the wrong one, they're supposed to be taking the wrong one back today but no sign of them yet! grr

on monday i think..nevermind i've still got loads of time really but you know what its like when you get something in your head then someone ruins it! esp with pregnant hormones..lol

yep i def know what you mean, i have felt the same about my house, what with only moving a few weeks ago at the time i wanted EVERYTHING doing ASAP but now it all seems to be coming together!!

I used to just sit and cry and cry, bloody hormones are amazing!! haha xxx

haha i know..i was telling my friend it doesnt matter how rational and sane you start off before you get pregnant or at the start of the pregnancy at some point you will find yourself crying at the jeremy kyle show, raging at someone in a shop rage incident or breaking down coz the bloody wardrobes the wrong colour...lol also thinking your a big fat whale when you know your carrying a precious baby! its so powerful!

Well last night was NOT fun... me and OH argued loads cos he was getting stressed out, when they said flat pack they MEAN flat pack we have to put EVERYTHING together ... I ended up going to bed crying cos OH shouted at me and he slept on the sofa!! OPPS!........... and its STILL not finished!!

Lucky I am not so tearful today! haha xxx

do what we did... get someone to make it and go away for the 2 days during!!! I got my dad and his brother to make it up whilst we went and spent 2 days in a 5 star hotel being spoilt!!! bought dad some aftershave and his brother (my uncle) 2 boxes of beer... now we're all happy..

but i know about that rationalisation thing... one min your okay but if something doesn't go to plan or to the way it should have in your head.... it becomes the end of the world...

keely post some piccies please when you've finished and i hope you and OH make up... anyway it was too hot last nite so you did well getting the bed to yourself.

and fran - hope those stupid delivery men get the right furniture delivered to you this time...

ITS DONE ITS DONE!!!

Finished it last night only need to put the shelves up tonight now. I'll take some pics and post ASAP

Last night I sat in there on my rocking chair with the cot mobile light beaming on the ceiling and cried!! I cant believe I will have a baby soon!!!

Awww Keely, fantastic!!! I understand how you must have felt putting it all together - that's why I don't really get involved in these things.
Well congrats on getting it all sorted at least you can sleep peacefully - that's if you can sleep in this heat!!!
We'll be going to Mamas & Papas today to ordered our nursery set for mid August!! Seems so far away - may well see if we can get someone in to put it all together for us

thats brill Keely, the most silly thing that happened to me when putting the furniture up and i mean i did it but when i needed help oh came and helpped me, i got the drill from my dads and asked matty to put the handles on it had to dots have no idea why and he drill through both of them so we had doors with two holes in them so went out and brought some handles for the wardeow and the draws under neith it so it now has two handles per door with star door handels on them
