Been having really weird painful goings on down below!!
Feels like baby is trying to get out   Can actually be really painful, sharp pains where I presume my cervix is, I keep thinking an arm or leg is gonna pop out  Anyone else getting this?

Hi Hon,

Could it be Braxton Hicks - common in the last few months before your DD. Are you timing them at all? Keep a check on them and if they get worse call the midwife or hospital.

Can't believe we've both only got a few weeks left. Still remember when we were in first tri! Hope it all goes wonderfully for you and that you are making the most of sleeping and spending quality time with your OH before LO arrives

Hi angelfairy,
I remember us being in the 1st tri too, seems soo long ago! Can't believe it's all gonna happen really soon. Hope everything goes well with you and your getting plenty of rest and your OH is doing all the house work :cheer:
Haven't been timing braxton hicks but I will now just in case, although definately not painful.
Have you had any rumblings, pains or stuff?
OH has been doing DIY, which he hates, but bless him the nursery is looking class. We have been doing the quality time together which is cool and looking forward to the new arrival, can't wait.

I asked my MW what these pains were because OH and I were getting worried about them. She said not to worry and that baby is probably pushing its head onto a nerve. This causes the sharp stabbing pains shooting up your foo. There annoying and theres not much you can do about them im afraid :? ...But at least its a good sign that babys head down and getting into position :cheer:

Hi Bev,

I'm doing my very best to get as much rest as possible, we stayed in bed till 11am on Sat and Sun morning which was bliss.

The nursery is almost finished now and the building work we are having done around the house is almost done too - hoorah get to have the house to myself again!

Am so looking forward to seeing my little one. What do you think the chances are of either of us giving birth on our EDD? Lol we'll both probably still be on the forum on the 1st of Dec moaning about being overdue :rotfl:

Hope the pains in your loulou go away so that you can get a good nights rest

Xxx

Sorry to hear you've been getting 'Punani' pains Bev :rotfl: (Im laughing at 'Punani' not your pain hun!)

I have heard this is very common so dont panic, it doesnt sound comfy but im sure its totally normal.

All good signs that things are going to plan
