Soo, my little boy is growing his chunky bum out of size 6+.. Not so much that they don't fit anymore a smaller size just doesn't do.. But how normal nappies so to say fasten seems to become more and more uncomfortable.. And whereas pull ups were quite a pain a year back they're quite alright now.. Easier to put on during the day that is.. Leaving no marks and seems to fit more comfy.. But they are sooooo expensive!

I was kind of buying them on offer because my little boy seems to be so much more comfy in them but they fill quick, he doesn't want to know anything about a potty.. Though the toiler is fine.. I wondered if it's more common to make the switch before being proper toilet trained..

(He is already in the large size of the huggies.. )

I bought Aldi pull ups. Think you got 18 for about £2.50, and they were as good as Huggies. I toilet trained my boy and only wore pull ups for trips out and long journeys to begin with , but it soon became obvious he didn't need them. If he's not interested in using the potty, but will the toilet, just go for it on the toilet? You just have to wean them from the potty to the toilet soon after so completely missing it out is no problem!

Yeah that's what I always thought I know more kids who skipped the potty and just went on toilet by three.. Problem is Aldi's nappies don't go above size 6 and have limited sizes in pull up pants.. That's why we've got size L huggies or even pyjama pants 3-5 years lol

Tesco do a size 6 pull up nappy - not too expensive - my 5 year old wears them to bed :) and she wears size 7-8 clothes, so not small! lol

Using them for comfort or ease of nappy changing when the child is older is good, but they usually hinder toilet training as they still feel like they have a nappy on and don't have to do anything about going to the loo when they need to!

I know it's just easier in use and he's just not yet ready to be fully potty trained.. Though pampers sometimes really cut into his skin and surely that's not comfy. I'll check tesco out, though I don't come there very often as Morrissons and asda are my locals lol.. The round trip sometimes.. I need a car.. and uh my driving license lol..
