i wasn't sure where to post this and i'm sorry if its tmi.

i'm just wondering how everyone with a growing bump past or present has dealt with their pubic hair. i hate having hair down there and its becoming almost impossible to shave now. i don't like the idea of getting it waxed or having my bf shave it. my mum suggests using a mirror. don't like the idea of letting it grow. how does everyone deal with this or is it just me who is having this problem? :rotfl:

I winged it   Did an ok job if I do say so myself.

I was "Miss Hollywood 2007"

But during pregnancy I let it go (had split from the OH so couldn't be @ssed!)

Then I went for my pre-op and the ditsy midwife said "So you'll be okay to "prep" yourself?" I must have looked like this  coz she then said "A wee bic razor, just dry to the pubic bone" Well f00k that, thought I, I ain't putting no bic anywhere near that!

So, I phoned my local beautician and begged for an appointment, she obliged the next day, but instead of pouring the wax on the way they do at the usual place I go....she used strips, well OH MY FF HELL it was agony, I thought I was going to go into labour right there and then!

6 weeks after baba and I was back at my normal salon, with legs in the air and haven't looked back since!!

:rotfl: certainly did make me laugh hehe. thankyou all for your replies looks like its going to have to be a mirror then

i completely shave too and have done since i was 17, so when i was preg i'd been doing it for 8 years almost every day so could do it blind anyway- altho a couple times i almost circumcised myself!

This is starting to become a problem for me too, i have shaved from first getting hair and i don't want to feel scruffy by not shaving.
I let OH have a go at it last week but after 2 hours of sitting there and nearly being cut up i have decided to book my self in at the salon and get it all waxed off, only problem is she wants it longer than what it is, so i'll have to wait a week.

Yep i'm having this probelm too i have found though that i'm not half as hairy as i used to be doesn't seem to grow as thick since becoming preggers but still needs attending too  thought about getting all waxed but TMI i get hair on inside of lips  (is it just me?) now i'm sorry but if waxed thats gotta hurt bad??!!! xx

I just lie in the bath and do it........
I hate having hair down there

I get OH to shave my legs though and surprisingly he does a good job  :shhh:

I normally have it bald down there but recently due to lazieness its grown and feels horrible, i feel so unclean! and sex isnt as good either so im going to get my sissors out then a razor and go back to my bald glory! :rotfl:

keli, no u are not alone- i get spiders legs too haha! i usually while in the shower can prize my lips apart and skim with razor- i dont often hurt myself lol- or i get my boyf to pluck them with tweezers! haha makes my eyes water but so worth it for a pretty fanjita

Electric shavers
no nicks, nice and smooth and can be done any which way including one handed LOL

i've been so sick i haven't bothered since i got preg lol

were you all baldies for birth of your babies? or are you planning on being a baldie? i think i'd be embarrassed lol

I've always been a baldie, so i was when i had harrison but i think its quite common, so whats there to be embarrassed about???

star, yes i was a baldie for the birth of my baby. i was jusdt saying in the ask a mum section i wanted to look pretty and clean for the MWs, and didnt want any hairs stuck to my baby's head! so got my boyf to pluck out all the strays a few days before my due date!

yeah, tweezers- they do make ur eyes water but it looks so much better! its worth it lol
