Has anyone taken Cyclogest or equivalent? We've been trying to conceive for a year and a half and now seeing a fertility specialist. After researching, I felt that my luteal phase was too short and after a chat, the specialist put me on 400mg progesterone a day from day 17 to 28. My cycle was normally about 25 days but always got a few days spotting prior to day 25 aswell.
Cyclogest stopped the pre-period spotting but I've been getting mid-cycle spotting instead.
We decided that I would come off the pessaries at the end of last month and so I was expecting the mid-cycle spotting this month, and it started on day 14. But it's day 18 today and now it's just like I've got a period! A little lighter than my normal ones but I feel rubbish like when I get a period too.
Don't know if this is my period, 10 days early or I'll get another one in 10-12 days time?
Has anyone else experienced any of this and have any advice please?
My main concern is I have a tube X-ray planned for next month and have to do it within 10 days of my period starting. But is this my period or not??
