Probably a silly question about ovulation

Sorry if this is a silly question but if your period is 3 days late does it mean you'll ovulate later? x

Not necessarily hun, think its only when OV is late your AF will be late

ok thank you ) i took an opk yesterday and was quite dark..my period last month was 3 days late..should have been july 1st..if i had had it on time i should have ov'd on monday but since it wasn't today would probably be ov day then? i have 31 day cycles x

OV won't necessarily happen the same time every month, anything can cause it to come early or even delay it so I'd keep up with OPKs just to be sure
