Premature Journeys

Hello, I'm looking for someone who can share their journey with me.

I've had a little blip, last Thursday started contracting, stayed in hospital for a couple of days, had steroid injections and all seems to have settled down. I'm back home, resting. Baby has been fab through out, no medical problems or infections. My uterus is still locked tight!

I'm now worried things will start again and we are still early. Has anyone experienced this and carried to full term? I know every pregnancy is very different and nobody can really have the answer I'm searching for but some shared stories would be very welcomed xx

I had contractions at 29 weeks with my second.was kept on hospital for over 24 hours up they had stopped. Was told it was most likely one of those things and nothing I could do to stop it happening again but was really worried. Tried to ensure had more rest, drank enough during day (as dehydration can cause contractions) plus spoke to employer so had found somewhere I could go and lie down if thought it was happening again as this can help them stop. I had contractions on and off from 37 weeks but didn't get medical help as they would ease. My daughter was born at 40+6!

Thank you Kbex, we had the some pain and contractions again from 4am this morning! They eased around half 8 and have stopped now. I am resting and drinking lots of water too. Fingers crossed our little one will be like your daughter and hold on in there x

I know it's worrying time. Fingers crossed for you. I just tried to focus in the fact that very day and week that passed was a bonus. Hope your little one stays put till the summer
