So my boyfriend and I have been sexually active for quite some time, and have not been "safe", so to speak. I have been on birth control, Sprintec, for approximately 5 or 6 years. I have been on birth control in total for 10 years, consecutively. We also use a morning after pill, Plan B One-Step, each time that we aren't "safe", which I usually take it approximately between 12 and 24 hours. I am supposed to start my cycle June 10th, but today I have felt tired. I have had a headache, as well as tender breasts. So I decided to take several pregnancy tests, 2 Clearblue, and 1 DG Onestep... all of which showed positive. I tested a week ago, with a Clearblue test, which showed negative. I have also had quite a lot of discharge the past 3 days, but having discharge has been common for me with birth control.

So my question is, what are the chances that the tests read true, or what are the chances that they may be a false positive?

Thank you for any advice given in advance!

How positive were the tests? Were the lines bright and easily visible? or very light and hard to see?

If they’re dark and visible, chances are you are pregnant

The 2 Clearblue were electronic, that displayed "Pregnant." The DG One Step showed the second line that was lighter than the first line.

the digital test aren’t as sensitive, it takes more of the hormone to trigger the positive so I’d definitely say you are!

Thank you for the input! It just seemed odd since we have used BC and the morning after. We are awaiting my cycle, which should start on the 10th so we will see!

Can I ask why you are using the morning after pill if you are on the pill?!
If a digital says your pregnant then you are. They aren’t sensitive so you Must have a lot of hcg for it to read pregnant.

I'm confused too, why would you use plan b if you are on the pill? I don't think that will do your body any good.

If the digital said pregnant that I would say you are for sure. But at 9dpo most pregnancy tests don't even pick up a pregnancy.

It would be really really odd to get pregnant if you are on the pill (taking it reliably every day) and also taking the morning after pill!! But if you clearblue digitals say you are pregnant then you are
