Pregnant or uti?

I have to per a lot, which I thought ok, you’re pregnant so normal.

Sometimes however there isn’t very much pee at all and I wonder if it’s the hormones making me feel like I need to pee when I don’t or is it actually a uti? It doesn’t hurt or anything.

If it doesn’t hurt I wouldn’t of thought it was a Uti, if you start to get pain/burning and blood when you pea then you need to see your GP.

Baby won’t be pressing on your bladder, I would just monitor it and make sure you are drinking plenty of fluids.

Last month I was so ill, I was shaking, my joints were aching, I couldn’t get out of bed, and it turned out to be a UTI, I had no pain in that area so didn’t expect it at all.

You can always up your fluids and keep an eye on it for a few days and if it’s still the same then take a sample to your doctor. Better to be checked before you get to the stage I was at! X

Thanks hun, I just don’t get uti’s really as I’ve always been really good at drinking fluids. Tried my doctors this morning called over 200 times and couldn’t get through! I’ll have to keep an eye on it

I had to pee every half hour when I was 4-5 weeks. It's almost definitely hormones. x

I went through a stage like this and they kept testing my wee ended up being nothing although urine tests showed something at first turned out not to be anything I think hormones and your uterus stretching etc makes it do it

Yeh it’s just weird because sometimes I feel like I need to go but nothing/very little comes out. I rang my gp and they told me to come in to do a sample just to be safe so I’m currently in the waiting room

I had he same was convinced it was a uti but it wasn’t although I had same symptoms with my little girl and I did I still get up a million times a night to pee and it will only get worse at least they are checking for you

Looks like the same as you, nothing showed up in the drs test although they will send off just to be sure. Looks like just my hormones.

I have been doing the same they told me i had lots in my sample but it was clear and they keep sending them off and keep saying retest i think its prob just hormones ... b4 pregnancy i always have utis mine never hurt but since pregnancy im clear which is strange but i feel like i have one but i dont think its just the fact we have to pee more haha just keep a check onit xx

It's def hormones, I had the same and had my urine checked at appts ans all clear.. I've only started getting up in middle of night to pee since I hit 13 weeks so think it's baby and not hormones now!
