Pregnancy after a C section

I just wondered how long after a section did you wait before you had another baby? I was not told anything like this after my section.

I will be waiting way longer than that!

I am just worried that if I got pregnant by mistake what would happen. We are carefull but I know accidents do happen. The worry puts me of cuddles a little bit (TMI)

i havent been told to wait any amount of time the only thing was if i wanted a natural birth its best to wait at least two years we are ttc right now

I was advised to wait a year before another pregnancy due to the risk of uterine rupture, however this is rare i think?!
I was also told the same as Saulino...if you wait 2 years then you have more chance of a sucessfull VBAC but i want to ttc next year if poss!

i waited 7 1/2 years after first, stil had to have a section and then i waited 3 years after second and still had a section and my uterus is knackered [/img]
