driving after a section

what is the rule about driving after a section? i feel fine and have been out and about in my car for 2 days now... i had my section a week last sunday (11 days) the MW said i shouldn't drive for 6 weeks but is this law? am i still insured?

I dont know if thsi is teh law hun but i think its just for safety mesures.
When Kiara was about a few weeksold we got in a car accident just a small one with bernies aunt and my stitches bled a little if it was a bigger one they would of opened alot more.

I'm not 100% sure but I don't think you will be insured.

I think the theory behind it is you won't slam your foot down on the brake cos you instinctivly avoid causing pain to your wound.

you are not insured to drive until 6 weeks unless you ring your insurance company up and tell them you have started driving again. i waited 4 weeks!
