Hi girls

Just wanted to know about pre labour signs, ive started with loose bowel movements, and ickle bean had to be checked today as he had decreased movements, also started with a dullish ache in my tummy which feels period pains but also to pass wind, it feels so heavy down on my pubic bone now it hurts with shooting pains xx

I suddenly found walking painful and constantly needed to wee but I think that's it! Hope this is the start of something for you x

Sorry can't help. Looking our for signs myself. I just keep getting cramps in my thighs and feeling sicky in the morning.

Ive now found i have pressure and pain in my lower bum near mu ccocxy bone, xx

Hmmmm. Keep an eye out for more pains! I started labour with dull period pains at 4.30am in the morning that didn't last long. By 3pm they were about 2 mins apart but still only 30s long. By 6pm they were too painful for paracetamol. I still thought it was early labour. Midwife arrived at 8pm for home birth, checked me and I was fully dilated. Eep!!! Baby was born 11.16pm that night. I didn't have a bloody show nor waters breaking until I was pushing. No other indications at all, really.

The day before all this I was craving red meat and loads of carbs, which I now realize was a sign that I was about to start labour.

Hope your LO stays put a bit longer x

Wilson - I think you're in the same boat as me and at the same stage as me (EDD is 18th Nov) - is your LO engaged at all? I spoke to MW earlier as I'm in quite a bit of pain/discomfort and she said it's most probably baby engaging (and me having SPD made it more uncomfortable) but to keep an eye out for contractions, waters breaking or decreased movement... xx

36+4 isn't too early considering 37 weeks is full term, so don't worry if you do.

Hi Hun, I am symptom spotting too!! Don't know if these are just me or things heading in the right direction?? Pooping loads, feel like I need to pee all the time, wind, always feeling damp!! Had my first raspberry leaf tea tonight and some pineapple!! So we shall see, but feeling very uncomfortable!! Hope you are doing ok! Xxx

Ha ha me too. I'm having 3 cups of raspberry leaf tea a day (not to bing on labour, but to help labour), drinking pineapple juice with some fresh pineapple for pudding. Walking loads. Going up the stairs to the loo rather than using the downstairs...anything to bring it on...anything. I have refused one inducement next week to try nd have a natural labour, I won't be able to refuse the next...so come on! good luck to the rest of you

Im at a loss with symptom spotting! I'm constantly at it now and have come to the conclusion that none of it means anything! Lol
Have been getting cramps on and off, lower back ache, loads of pressure... been having loose bowels for a couple of weeks too. Have been taking raspberry leaf and epo since 36 weeks also... Seems like it really is just a waiting game! When it happens it happens and I guess when it does we will know about it!

I'm preying that the full moon tomorrow will help us out!

Well aparently rasberry leaf only helps you in labour not actually making the baby come sooner, my symptoms seem to have worn off :( xx

Yeah I think I read that epo can soften the cervix and the raspberry leaf tones it, so as a combo can help bring labour on a little earlier and then it's meant to speed it up?
Either way, definitely hasn't made it early for me lol

That's the most annoying thing when you get loads of symptoms and then they suddenly stop! Stop teasing us, babies!

Tell me about it, finding i was engaged last week i was dreaming every night about my waters breaking and going into panic lol, i really thought he was comin early last few dsys but i reckon hes going to be later lol, how long do u have left? Xx

Epo softening cervix is true and do you know the best way to do it?...pierce it with a sterilised needle and push it up your foof!! Not doing that! :)

Raspberry leaf tea or capsules don't bring on labour but they supposedly DO HELP during labour...no experience to know if it is true, but I'm giving anything a go.

Nothingis progressing for me...I actually got excited about back pain today! Nothing...layed about 10 mins :( come on babyi don't want to be induced!

How long have you it left Wilson?

Ive got 2wks and 4days, im just trying to go with the flow xx

I've got 2 days left! Due date is the 31st! I really want her to arrive before November but can't see it happening.
Lol it's such a pain isn't it, every time I get a twinge I am on tenterhooks thinking my waters are going to pop but still nothing! I'm having a really grumpy day today, how are you doing?

Kellybean, your reaction to vaginally inserting epo is the same as mine - NO THANKS! Lol ill stick with taking it orally and hoping it does something lol
