Which pushchairs have you lovely parents got?

I've got a while to think about it but want to start looking now!

There's so much choice I don't know where to start! I would like something that comes with a carrycot and also a seat which can be parent facing.

I like the look of the mountain buggy cosmopolitan luxury geo but it really annoys me that it doesn't come with a rain cover and if spending around £700 I'd expect it to come with one.

i have gone for the silvercross chelsea wayfarer :)

I absolutely love my iCandy strawberry, it's done two babies now. I'm looking at the iCandy Orange this time.

I will check those all out. Thanks.

We don't have any shops here which sell prams so I can't look at them and have to order online. It's a bit of a pain.

Look for user reviews on YouTube of the ones you fancy. Obviously not the same as you trying them but is the next best thing and you can see it in action etc x

We are going for the mothercare journey this time around x

If you are looking for a budget friendly option we have gone for the Joie DLX which I really like. All the advantages of the more expensive pushchairs without the price.

To start with we bought a hauck travel system for £99, reduced from £300 to clear. I found the pram difficult to use as the wheels were small and got stuck everywhere, and also the suspension was none existent so my son woke over every lump and bump. It was very flimsy so it didn't feel overly safe to use plus the car seat didn't fit in our car.
My mum then got us a second hand silver cross surf, which was miles better but also kept getting stuck and was big when folded so took most of the space in the car. Also the newborn insert kept sliding around so my LO was always laid at one side and it wasn't very comfortable for him either. Plus it was a faff getting him in and out of it.
Eventually now my son is 3mo we decided to sell the others and splash out on a more pricey travel system. I chose the vinicci gusto and I LOVE everything about it! It looks classy, it doesn't get stuck anywhere, it's lovely and smooth over bumps, it's small enough for daily life yet big enough to last so I will never need another buggy. It's so comfortable for him, very easy to push and I can't rate it enough especially compared to the others! It came with bag, foot muff, rain cover, fly net, changing bag etc and it suits our life well. It was £650 (including carry cot, buggy, cars seat etc) from our local store but very sturdy and will last if I have more children on future.
Venicci is very popular at the moment, most people I know who had children recently or are expecting have one and now I know why.

I've got the egg. Love it. I have no intention of changing to a different pram unlike many in my baby groups who have swapped already. I shopped around and found an ex demo pram with all the extras and 40% off in a less popular colour, well worth doing if you aren't set on a certain colour as it can be a massive saving. It would have been beyond our budget otherwise.

I totally recommend driving to a shop that stocks a range and testing them out. I had to drive an hour to do it and it really changed my mind about what I wanted, so it was time well spent.

Mamas and papas sola 2. 12 weeks in I still love it. Baby is in the carry cot still with lots of room and she's not a small baby. We ordered it new years day for around £400 and got it delivered beginning of March a month before due date x

We live on an island in Scotland so travelling to somewhere where I can try them out is expensive! I might end up having to deliver in Aberdeen but I'd rather have made a choice on what I want by then. I'm also hoping for more sales before then! I'm due just before Christmas.

I like the look of the sola. They have a brilliant bundle half price at the moment but I'm only 16wks so seems to early to buy at the moment. It's good to hear you like your one!

So many replies already but what the heck

We went for the silvercross pioneer this time. It's platinum grey and too light, and I'll probably regret the colour soon. But the actual pram is a dream. It click folds up and down so easy.

I watched a woman unfold it on the bus with her baby in one arm once and thought "I'm having that" Could never get my mothercare orb down. Big basket, good suspension, also sits enough upright when converted. I found my eldest daughters didn't. She was always very frustrated because her pram didn't sit forward enough for her to see. Xxx

Honestly it will be cheaper than buying the wrong pram. I wasn't going to bother as I said it was an hour each way but it really changed my mind about what I thought I wanted.

It wouldn't be cheaper. It's either a 6hr boat trip, overnight so would need a cabin and it ends up quite costly. Flights are around £300 return to Aberdeen or Edinburgh! If it was a couple of hours drive then I would do it but even if I go to Inverness it's a 1hr 30m boat trip and then 3.5hr drive from there.

I really think it's worth spending a bit extra for a good pram, I know so many people who have swapped and changed prams so many times, I've had the same one for 3 years and it's done 2 children. I still love it!

Which one do you have?
