Hello girls,

I was wondering if any of you have bought an imported buggy/pram from ebay, I have been looking today and there seems to be a lot to choose from. Are they worth the money or are they crap??

Any suggestions

M xx

I've bought my travel system off ebay and it's absolutely fine, though it's a Quinny Buzz it's not a special foreign import or anything..

I bought mine from a store but I've known loads of people who have bought from ebay, saved money, and are really happy with them too. If you see something you like and it's cheaper than high-street then go for it I'd say :D

Thanks girls

Its all so bloody confusing, one thing im curious about is the car seat thingy, I dont drive but can I use this in a taxi?? will it just slot in or does it need to be permantly fixed!!!

You can buy ones that just sit on the seat and clip the seatbelt around them each journey so you can take it in/out the car with ease or you can buy one that slots into an isofix base. The base stays permanantly locked into the seat and you just click the seat in and out (without the flapping around with seatbelt bit) each time you use it. You can get some lovely car seats but not all come with the isofix base....since you won't be using the same car and taxis etc you can pretty much get any car seat.

Taxi's are the only vehicle you don't have to use a car seat in - not sure if its different for newborns though. All brands are easy enough to strap in though. :D

I bought my pram off ebay and it wasimported from Poland. It cost me £200 and if I had bought a similar one in a shop here it would have cost an awful lot more.
I absolutely love it and have had noproblems at all. I also bought my buggy from ebay and that was great too.x
