I didnt go, I felt great had np problems so saved myself some time.
Last time i wnt though they just checked me weight and asked questions.

I had to re-book mine as the initial checkup was pointless, she just said 'are you ok?' I said 'not really', she said 'that's normal' 
, so I re-booked after chatting to my HV about it, and I also wanted to have a smear too, knowing we wanted more children I wanted that check outta the way before any pregnancy. The GP was lovely, I had an internal check, very quick, about 1min if that, and tummy prodded around a bit, and all was well
