Possible UTI??

Hey ladies,

i've never had a uti before only kidney infections so was wondering what is going on in my lady area?!!

For the past few days when i go to the loo ( wee ) i have this massive pressure like something quite big is about to fall out of me! It's normally only during the night, so i thought it could be where i'm quite despreate to go but just noticed it again just now! I've got no backache or it doesn't sting when i go to the loo but can't think what else it could be cept little man trying to escape early without any labour pains lol

Any ideas??

Go to the doctors to be on the safe side and they'll check you for a UTI. I've had them and had so symptoms at all x

I got midwife next monday, do you think she'll do anything about it?! I thought i had thrush last night as i was itchy and slightly sore down there and also red but ive woken up this morning and it's back to normal, just got the pressure instead!

laceys mummy I have had both kidney infection and uti and I always find that uti has the same syptoms minus the backache, shakes and shivers! but you do feel stingy when you wee with uti!

I'm not stinging though :/ It's litterally just a pressure type feeling down below like something big is about to drop out! lol So strange!!

Sounds like it could be thrush, especially if you were a bit sore down there. Think thrush can make your bits swolen too so maybe that's what the pressure is? Sorry, I'm not much help!

The last few days I have had the pressure thing too, almost like when you need a wee and press on your belly. But my bump has had a growth spurt so I think it's just that tbh, it almost feels like my bump has 'dropped' if that makes sense
Let me know if you have a uti cos I'll get checked too lol!

Sorry , can't help here really, as only had a wee infection once years ago and that stung.

Run it by your midwife, she must hear symptoms all the time from pregnant ladies and know the cause X
