Possible to get pregnant by only having weekend sex?

Hi guys

My boyfirend is still working away and he can't (at the moment find work closer to home) He is now coming home Fri - Sun each week as opposed to every 2 or 3 weekends.

My Q is... is it still possible we COULD get pregnant only having weekend sex?

I am attenpting to track my cycle online and use ovulation sticks.

If I ovulate on Thurs for example, then could I conceive from the previous weekend?

I am driving myself crazy. Came off the pill in Aug. Three friends are now pregnant. One was accidental. The others planned - despite the couple being together less time than we've been trying :'(

It is possible sperms *can* live up to 5 days so of you dtd sun that may be able to cover you until Fri.... but of if you ov on a Tuesday did on a Sunday 2 days before ov is the perfect optimum time to get preg. They say did every 2-3 days is the best chances as he needs time to build up good quality sperm

Maybe you could use preseed or concieve plus to try help the sperm last a bit longer? Don't know how much by though. My friend got pregnant having sex a week before ovulation- it's definitely possible!

It is possible if you ovulate around the time he is home. They say sperm can live for 5 days, my consultant said it is more like 2-3 days but I am guessing its longer if the environment permits (good ewcm etc). Maybe conceive plus could help xx

I was told sperm lasts 3 days in warm weather and 2 in cooler weather. It's unlikely the sperm would last from sunday to thurday, but if you have sex on friday, saturday and sunday and you ovulate from friday to tuesday you have a good chance.

Of course it is. You can get pregnant whilst on your period also amd you can get pregnant anyday of the week as sperm can live up to 5 or 7 days. Cant remember excatly what mw said.

I think they can live up to 5-7 days but it's more 2-3 (this is what fertility specialist said). Although it is possible still, when I had the video of my embryos which shows them developing hour by hour over 5 days (in quick time) you could see little sperm still swimming around on day 4. They obv put it in perfect fluid though so I am guessing that makes a difference.
You will ovulate close to the weekend or over a weekend at some point so try not to worry too much, I know it's hard not to stress when ttc though xx
