Positive CB Ovulation Digital help please

Hi everyone

So my friend started using the Clearblue fertility monitor and got pregnant first month using it so she has kindly gave it me to use

So it's my first month using that...but also using the regular clearblue digital ovulation sticks. On the monitor I've been getting 'high' for the last 6 days...but yesterday got a solid smiley face on the digital, so I was expecting to get a 'peak' on the monitor today...but again it's a high. Another smiley face on the digital today :-/

Just wondering if anyone has had the same...I know we are not suppose to read the lines but the lines on the digital are both strong dark lines, but on the monitor one dark one light. The light one does seem to be getting darker but no where near as dark as the other line yet.

Hiya I wonder if the stick with the fainter line could be a dudd? I would say your prob high/peak so definately worth dtd today and every or every other day whilst is high/peak. The solid smiley only hangs around for 48 hours as it predicts ovulation will happen in this window. I have just bought fertility monitor this morning so will start to use it when af shows up and hoping that it works for us both like it did for your friend x

If it's the monitor that I looked at, the first month it is generally getting to know your body and cycle etc, so you may not get a high/peak with the first month using it. I would take the solid smiley off the digital as your peak for this month. Hope that makes sense.
I've not actually used the monitor just going by what I read online.

We have been dtd over the last 6 days anyways because of getting the highs on the clearblue fertility monitor. Hopefully i will get a peak tomorrow morning

It's really nice seeing a smiley face on the digital though, I've been ttc since June and been using the cheap internet ovulation strips but not managed to get a positive until now!

I'm even more confused now...so the CB digital ovulation stick gave me two days of smiley face then today back to negative. I expected the monitor to peak today but it's still high, and the lines look lighter. It's as if the monitor has just missed the ovulation...but then again it's still high and not low :-/

Not sure but sometimes its easy to miss peak. For instance if your LH surge happens at 8pm and lasts 6-8hours (which is possible) then when you test next morning it wont detect peak? As long as youre dtd every other day during high period youre covered...just need to see if any of the little swimmers caught the egg! Good luck x
