Hello everyone!
So this will be my 2nd month TTC, but had very difficult timing this month due to both of us working so much.. We managed to only BD cd9, 11, 14 and last night (cd18, thats when I got my positive opk).. I don't think I will be able to bd again till tomorrow.
I have 28 days cycle and as I noticed I ovulate around cd19, which makes my LP shorter. I started taking 100mg of B6 this cycle hoping it will lengthen it...
Do you think I am completely out this month due to not enough bd? :(
Xoxo

You only need to bd once during your fertile period, so you definitely are not out.

If you’ve done the deed on cd18 and you expect to ovulate on cd19 then you have a very good chance - day before ovulation is probably the peak day to conceive as it gives the sperm a chance to get where they need to be in the tubes and get themselves ready to fertilise the egg as soon as it lands x

That's what I've heard too, but I'm still nervous about it knowing I have LPD...
Did any of you have any experience with B6?

I have a 28-30 day cycle and ovulated on cd20. Still got pregnant. It's good to be aware of your luteal phase but don't let it stress you out, there's plenty of time for implantation.

I wouldn’t worry too much about the length of your luteal phase there’s a lot of fertility experts who don’t actually agree it’s a problem to have a shorter length, there is a theory a fertilised egg sends signals to ramp up progesterone production before implantation has even completed, and an egg which implants after around day 10 or 11 is much less likely to result in a successful pregnancy - implantation after 11dpo the miscarriage rate is around 80%, late implantations usually mean the egg isn’t good quality, didn’t divide correctly and didn’t make it to the womb quickly, so you really want implantation to happen by 10dpo anyway

I don’t have any experience with b6 but I had been taking a ttc multivitamin with b6 included in it for around 3 months prior to ttc and I did notice that my lp lengthening by around a day or so, I don’t think there would be any harm in taking a b6 supplement alongside a general ttc supplement x
