I've just found out that there's an old bylaw that has never been changed which states that a pregnant woman can ask a police officer for his hat to pee in if she needs the loo, and he is obliged to give it!

Oooh I'm so tempted now to go and ask a copper for his hat and see what happens! rotfl!

In fact we should all (all us pregnant ladies) do it! That would be hilarious! Pregnant women all over Britain asking police offers for their hats to pee in!
I'd love to see the expressions on their faces!

(I wouldn't ACTUALLY pee in one by the way - I'd just love to request it to see what happens!)

My brother in law is a policeman, I asked him if I could but he said no, even when I told him it was the law!!!
I told him he would get the sack if I reported him but he laughed at me!!! Police nowerdays, Honestly!!!

I've always wondered about those old bylaws though - whether they would still stand up in a court of law or whether they would be dismissed.
