Please help really worried again!!!

I hope u don't mind but I am going out of my mind with worry and I am away at a conference this weekend and really need some advice! I have had more brownish spotting today (had some a week ago and had beige/tan on and off all week) today I have more and it's more brown. I panicked and went to do a digi an hour ago but I had just urinated half an hour before and it was my fourth wee of the day so my urine was dilute but it said 2-3 which I got over a week ago in the afternoon with dilute urine, surely it should say 3+ now ? Even with dilute urine?? I am over 6 weeks probably 6w2 going from when I normally ovulate. Do u think I am having a miscarriage? I am so scared. I have a scan on Tuesday so I guess I will find out by then for sure but in the meantime this is so hard to cope with and I can't concentrate on anything! I still feel nauseous maybe not quite as bad as yesterday I just don't know what to think about the digi ??

Hi Lou, spotting does not necessarily mean bad news, I did have brown spotting when I had my first MMC but the biggest symptom I had was a pain in my lower back. I have read lots and lots of positive outcomes for Tri 1 with spotting both brown and red so try your hardest not too worry, it could easily be old blood.

I think 4th urine of the day might not give you an accurate result. If you could try and hold your wee for 4 to 6 hours and then do a test it would be more reliable but by 6 weeks the HPT tests can have the hook effect. If possible try to get as much rest over the next few days - hopefully you can sit at the conference. Also don't do any heavy lifting.

Id take it easy but with my first I had heavy brown bleeding and she was fine! I think brown is fine x

Took over 10 days before i got a rise in my digi
Theyre good but everyone is different and our levels dont go up exactly the same
Youll worry with the scan and youll worry without
Youll just worry for 9 months basically lol
Try not to though. Brown means old which is good x

Please don't worry. There are so many causes of spotting! I had brown spotting with both my pg at about the same time (8w) and I thought it was the implantation bleed finally "coming out".

I had a week long red and brown bleed in Tri2 (not the same as Tri1 I know) and it was still OK. Docs said this was due to having had intercourse and irritating my cervix.

Please don't worry and certainly if you feel you need to test again, use first morning wee.

Brown is good definitely, so that;s'even more reassurance for you.

My digi still wasn't 3+ at 6 weeks , I went out my mind , it never went to 3+ and I had a bright red heavy bleed xx

I would say a digi would be inaccurate with a half hour hold, it is so easy for it to read the wrong results and apparently the 3+ is the most inaccurate reading to get. I really do hope all is ok and hope your scan comes around quick for you xx

I drove myself mad with hpts in the beginning. I pretty much convinced myself it was going to end badly because the lines weren't consistently darker. Then I had bloods taken to check hcg and it went from 2000 ish to 6000 ish in 4 days so I thought it was definitely over because it wasn't enough. Now I'm almost 18 weeks.

So, until you have a scan, you really have no idea what's going on in there. Try not to panic. It's more likely that everything is fine than not.

Hi ladies

After lots of rest I feel better x spotting has stopped again and I got a 3+ on a digi with FMU this am so that also made me feel better. I know u r right I just need to have my scan, I just need to see it to believe it if that makes sense! I was never like this with my first conception but I think after a mc and then a chemical pregnancy in August I am just super scared of anything going wrong... I will feel so much better after my scan
