Please help me with Fertility Friend app

Hi, this is my first month of using fertility friend to chart-my temps have been pretty steady apart from an odd one at about cd10, I've been using opk and checking my cm as well. On day 12 the chart had a Red criss cross on it...crosshairs??? (I discarded a temp so they've since gone) But I know I hadn't ovulated by opk and cm then on cd14 I got my positive opk and cm matched, my temp has been creeping up ever since day 13. So will it put my cross thing in again now I've imputed information that verifies my surge or not? I've had a look and it says you can add your own, instead of waiting for the generated one. I started temping really not for the ovulation side as I always opk and sometimes get the ovary pop but more for the two week wait temperature watch.
Can anyone with better knowledge advise me??

Personally I don't find Fertility Friend very reliable. Ovia is more accurate for me. I'd say it's pretty difficult to know the exact day of ovulation anyway unless you feel it happen. Some women ovulate after the temp starts to go up, some before. Keep putting your temps in and see if it adjusts the crosshairs and if you think it's accurate or not. If you just want to use FF to keep an eye on your luteal phase then it doesn't matter when it thinks you ovulated as you will be able to see from the temps if you are in luteal or not.

Will the temps stay higher in the LP up until just before Af then you dip?? I'm getting used to this! I've got Ovia too but because I started ff in Celsius I had to keep converting it for Ovia so maybe I'll convert and enter the info in there too. Thank you

Yes they will. I know it's annoying having to convert the temps to Ovia. I temp on a paper chart too...I find it's easier and I can track what I want. Good luck x
