Pinprick rash

My little boy (nearly 5 months old) has developed a pin prick rash. I spotted it last night, but thought it might just be where he has got hot or something, but it hasn't gone away today. It's only on his torso and round his neck. Nowhere else on his body. I've done the glass test, and it disappears when pressed. He seems perfectly fine within himself. Any ideas what this could be? Would it be worth going to the doctors?

Mighg not be the same but my little girls has similar too- little red dots/ pimples on her neck and sides of her face. It seemed really bad for about four days and has now died down a bit. I have wondered if it is perhaps and allergy or from me using too much washing powder on her clothes. We are going to the doctors anyway tomorrow for something else so I'm going to check with them just to be safe.x

Well, the ones Riley has aren't that bad. They are a pink colour. My oh reckons it's nothing and that there is no point going to the dr.... but I was always told that no matter what, if its a worry, go to the dr, even if they say its nothing.
