Sorry to invade..

I'm meant to be in first tri.. slap my hand hehe..

but i'm 9weeks 4days.. and just got a DEFINATE H/B on angel sounds.. been tryin since about 8weeks.. thought it'd be imposs to get it so early..

but you know it, when you hear it hehe..

Got my Dad to listen, as hes had 5 of his own.. not licterally lol..

and he Said yes.. its def the h/b.. he described it as wooohs whooohs but really fast lol.. so funny seing him do impressions haha xx

If i move it about I can hear another noise its really weird like a WOW WOW WOW WOW noise if that makes sense? Is that the blood supply or something??

You should be able to hear the baby's heartbeat, your heartbeat (much slower) and the placenta. Chances are the 'wow wow wow' you describe is the placenta.

I have an angelsounds which i got at about 16 weeks. I found it great for peace of mind, i wish i got it sooner. Once you feel baby moving you wont use it as often but its great if baby has a quiet day. I still use it now if i havent felt her move much.

Now own up those it tried to get it to work before taking the wrapper of the battery

If it has a point on it you should be able to get a cable and plug it in to your PC and record. But TBH I am not sure as the Angelsounds is a cheaper make/model and I don't know if it comes with the attachments or facilities etc in built.

Why not have a read of the Angelsounds info either that came with it or online and see if it can be done with the model you own? I'm sure a quick google will tell you.

I know ours does, but its a Hi Bebe one and we opted not to worry about getting the recording option side of it.

The Angelsounds one has an attachment, i think its to plug into pc, then onto CD not directly onto your pc which is a bit of pain..

But its still good..

I'm not to worried about recording, just though if i could itd be nice,

Tried to do it ourselves last night as wanted to send it to Grandad to be in Spain, but everytime we went to record the little bugger, it moved away!!!

I managed to record onto the pc using the wire they provide but it took ages and i cant remember how to do it i think it was more luck.

Not much help am i but its possible.

Try with lots of gel on your tummy, lie flat(ish) and then work up from the pubic bone area, side to side. By this time (24 weeks) LO is around the bellybutton area, so just move the mic slowly across and round your tummy area. If you go anything other than slow you may miss it.

Often women find their LO's once bigger tend to move away from the doppler or kick out against it a lot, so it may be your LO keeps moving away therefore not letting you get a chance to listen. My LO kicks out and moves away and I've come to the conclusion that LO does not really enjoy it, so keep it short each time.

At 24 weeks as you are getting lots of kicks chances are you won't really need/want the doppler for anything other than the odd listen or bit of reassurance. Once I was feeling kicks properly I stopped using my doppler and just enjoyed the movement.

Good luck, hopefully you get to hear your LO's heartbeat.

not 2 good! all i can ever hear is swishing about and kicking!! he/she obv dont want me to hear their wee heartbeat!! boohoo. got my 4d scan coming up soon so ill be able to see and hear it all then...........ill just wait!!xxxxx
