Hey Ladies

I've just got back from midwife appt at 23+4. All okay except foetal heart rate was chugging along at 180bpm, which the midwife said was a bit fast.

She's booked in to come to see me next week, as she'd like to see it settle down a bit.

I'm telling myself that it's nothing to worry about, but I can't help but feel a bit freaked out, so I thought I'd pop it up here to see if anyone has had the same?

(Foetal Heart Rate was 150bpm at last midwife appt and at 12 week scan).

Thanks Ladies

Oh hun try not to worry. MW knows about it and she'll keep an eye on you both. I don't know if what we do affects baby's heart rate but did you have to rush there? Or have a stressful wait? xxxxxxxxxx

Not really, but I have been fairly active over the past few days (sorting out the house in preparation for the baby!)

It's amazing how much you can freak yourself out and blame yourself for things isn't it?!

I'm sat here now, taking things easy, keeping myself hydrated, and I've decided to cut out all caffiene (not that I was having much, but I needed one or two cups of tea a day to keep me feeling alive!)

Thanks for your reply, it's so nice knowing there's people out there who know how you feel!
