Pillows?

Following on from maybebaby's thread.

Harrison doesn't have a pillow at all...Will this affect him in anyway?
I was going to give him one once he goes into his bed around 2ish along with a duvet as he is one of the babies that loves putting things over his face like tea towels and his tops when I change him, he thinks its hilarous but Im worried if he has a pillow & duvet now he'll put it over his head...

I can't see that there would be a problem not having a pillow!

I'm not gonna give Brody a duvet until he goes into a bed either as he'd just kick it straight off! Hadn't even thought of a pillow either until I read Maybebaby's thread!

Grobag makes these duvet sheets and pillow cases (fits cot beds or single beds) that are attached to the bottom sheet so no kicking off the covers nor getting head under pillow. Think they are only recommended for 2+ years though:

we gave alana a tiny pillow when she was about one, but she cuddled it like a teddy more.

then when we put her in a real bed at about 20 months we gave her real pillow and duvet and she normally kicks duvet off and lies to the side of the pillow
