Lets go TMI...what are your periods like?

The reason I ask is mine usually start really heavy for first day or 2 then light for next 5 days. They always last the full 7 days.

I was looking it up last night and apparently heavy periods can be a sign you aren’t ovulating. I’ve freaked myself out now!

Thank you. I don’t temp as it made me too obsessed with it all when I done it before. Also I’ve got a 3 year old who’s never been a great sleeper so don’t think it would fit in with getting up and down x

Definately ignore what you read about heavy periods and not ovulating.

The first 2 days of my periods are usually HORRENDOUS! Very heavy, to the point i need to allow more time in my day to accommodate for it all god i dont miss them x

Mine were horrific when they first started when I was 14. Now I have two to three days of spotting, one medium day with extreme pain, another medium day and three light before it stops.

My first 2 days are hell the cramps are awful and set my hips off and I'm heavy those 2 days then I get 2 day medium flow then I'm light but it can also go light for 3 days if I've been particularly heavy the first 2

Yeah I typically have heavy periods - when I was younger it was like something out of a horror film and the pain was unbearable, for the last few years since I turned 30-ish I would have a heavy 2 days, with pain on the first day, on the first day I could go through a super plus tampon every 3 hours easily sometimes more, then I would have a light flow day, then some very light spotting where I wouldn’t even need a tampon, they probably last 3 days in total, sometimes I would have a period from hell where it just seemed to be like something out of a horror film again, also my cycle length was never spot-on regular, they would vary between 27 days to 33 days, seem to conceive quickly but had 2 miscarriages out of 3 pregnancies, try not to freak yourself too much, I think the real sign of not ovulating is really long and irregular cycles, if you are getting a cycle every month or thereabouts it’s highly likely that you are ovulating regularly xx
