Periods

Hi all

I just wanted to see what is normal as I've been on the pill for many years, so not had many normal periods.

My periods the last couple of months have tended to be fairly light on CD1, heavy on CD2, then very light until around CD5/6 when it finishes.

Today is CD3 and I've literally had hardly any bleeding, what I have had is a very small amount of old brown blood.

Also are very small little clots normal? I see these in the toilet when I go a wee.

Be interested to know how this compares to other ladies.

Hi Emma,
It's completely normal. My periods are like 4 days max and it's light cd1, heavy on cd2 and rest day/s its just brown old blood. I do get some blood cloths too, so it sounds completely normal to me

Mine are 3 days 4 very max, first is light, then end of first day and into the second is pretty heavy, then light for the rest . They give me a lot of discomfort for the small amount of bleeding x

Yup, this is what I usually get too. Also didn’t know what a normal period was like having had none at all while on the implant then the pill. Was a right shock after seven years of none at all! ��
