Period Pains

Hi,

I've been getting period like pains for the past couple of days, there on and off throughout the day, does anyone know how long they last before I go into labour?

I had period type pains for about 3 weeks before labour. Are you 40 weeks?

mine were exactly like period pains, but my waters broke first, before any pains of anytype.

i had period pains like i said for few weeks.. however I din';t get any period pains during labour but maybe that was cos labour was back to back and thats where all my pains where x

i had on/off period pains 48 hours before millie was born. i was told they were "effacing pains". they had peaks to them every 7 or 8 minutes. after 36 hours they were proper contractions
