Peanut Butter

I don't know if I've put this in the right section...........but am I allowed peanut butter? (absolutely love it on toast!!)

I haven't eaten any while pregnant, but I really want some! Looking around the net, there are mixed answers.
Has anyone else eaten/avoided it?

I have eaten peanut butter on toast this pregnancy and peanuts. They say to avoid it if there is a family history of nut allergy. some people avoid it alltogether,it's up to you really xx

i avoid it altogether because i have a few seasonal allergies and seasonal asthma.

Its really a matter of personal choice

Im glad this subject was brought up because im craving peanut butter, had a few dreams about it lately....perhaps the odd slice of PB on toast wont harm then

yeah, my sisters midwife said so long as there isnt a family histroy then it should be fine

i have been eating satay sauce and peanuts throughout and everything is fine

just think of all those ladies prior to medical advice who ate what they want and bubbas were fine!

thin is years ago there wasn't the crap they put into foods as there is now lozzi.

Foods were pretty pure and not full of additives and preservatives.

I craved peanuts with both my pregnancies and gave into it, as no family history.

I'd give in hun at least once or you will drive yourself mad wanting it

I have bad hayfever and a dust allergy and ive been told im not allowed peanut butter cos apparently when you are pregnant, if you have other allergies you can become prone to developing more. Im well cross cos i love peanut butter all gooey on toast so it dribbles down yer chin!! xx
