pc help please...

Thomas keeps hitting the keys on the laptop and now my internet window has lost the loading bar at the bottom so i dont know if pages are loading or not
How can i get this back?

Ive tried pressing all the F keys, restarted the laptop and hit a few random keys myself
im using internet explorer if that help

go to view then there should be something to do with status bar in there if not try googling it. This is what DH says
