Hiya mummies!

I'm trying to fill out a passport form for our newborn little girl, me and my OH was born in 1985 so after 82 and I'm so confused about the grandparents section (section 4)? I've seen people say as long as you fill in the passport section we don't need give dates of birth etc (which is a pain cause my parents and I don't really talk anymore). I can fill in the details of the passport numbers for me and OH?

Can anyone tell me if it's possible NOT to fill in the section?

Thanks

Rachael

Just maybe fill out their names and info as best you can and out a cover note in explaining you no longer have contact with grandparents

It's more for family history and ethnicity generation stats

As long as you and partner are on there that's te main thing as they can see from your passport who your parents are

Phone the passport service, don't add notes it can reject your application and waste 55£.

Didn't void my application when I put a cover note in explaining we didn't have partners father details !
