Lots of practical information in the first one. The second is nice to look at and I think there's some good advice about (not too strict) routines and food.

i used to use rough guide to parenting. i liked it because it was not too prescriptive

I like this as it just matter of fact. Its not there to tell you a specific way to approach things or deal with them per se.

Always worth reading..I read it when wills was about 6 months
