Parental rights

Not sure this is in the right place but i want to know if and how i can give Dave parental rights to Tally? We will marry next year, i'm not sure what that gives him but i want him to basically be her dad.

Her birth certificate just has me on not Phill so he doesnt have rights to her either and doesnt see her, but his family do.

Makes me wish we could have fooled ourselves in to putting Dave on her birth certificate but we dont wanna lie to her

No he doesn't unless he is on the birth certificate or you were married at the time of the birth...

Sorry to digress from the pr subject but Kelsey, how long did that adoption process take? My oh is going to adopt my eldest boy soon.

With PR if birth father doesn't have pr then I would think it should be fairly straight forward but if in doubt just see a solicitor or go to the court or CAB.
