Parasol Sunshade from Boots - RECALLED

Thought this might be of use to some of you ladies as I know a couple of you also purchased the £9.99 parasol from Boots. I had a letter today to say they've been recalled and to return it to your nearest store for a full refund. You don't need the receipt and I didn't take a copy of the letter either

We never used the parasol as it was so pants anyway, so it was good to get my tenner back for it!!

Me too ! It was really crap but we have been using it all summer so was great to get the £10 back ! lol

i have one and absolutley hated it! great that summer is over now i don't need it anyway!!

They have a potential defect that could cause the spokes to break and expose a sharp edge according to their letter

I threw mine away because it was crap and bought a Mothercare one. Gutted, I would've got my money back!!!

I know! Doesn't give you much faith in Boots. Taken them long enough to realise it aswell!

Bloody thing was crap though, kept falling out the holder. Only used it twice

Everytime I walk past boots they have about 5 posters in the window for recalled products. I won't buy from there anymore really.

i used to work for boots, well for all of 1 and a half days, i could tell you a few ear burstin stories, as a rule I NEVER EVER EVER EVER EVER shop at boots !
