paracetamol in pregnancy

Hello all. i have just found out that i am pregnant. can anyone tell me the effects of paracetamol in the early stages of pregnancy. i took an overdose some months ago and spent several days in hospital. i am now very worried that it may have devestating long term effects on my baby. i am now very happy to be pregnant and wish just the best for my baby. please help. T
 
Hello - I'd speak to your GP for the best guidence on this, but normal paracetomol use in pregnancy is fine (1 or 2 tablets every 4 hours max 8 in 24 hours).

hi i have had really bad head aches during :D my pregnancy and i have taken paracetamol i aksed the gp first so it shud be fine but if your still worried best to check with your gp kelx
 
my midwife said the it is ok to take paracetamol as long as it isnt alot but i would go and ask your doctor though:)
