paracetamol and ibuprofen

i've had the worst tooth ache before bed last night and today, nearly had me in tears. i took paracetamol and ibuprofen and it's stopped the pain so far! (took them 2hours ago) i'm in my 2WW though, is this going to have any effect ?

I wouldn't have thought so hun. There must be lots of women who take no end of meds before knowing they're pregnant and go on to have healthy babies.
They don't recommend taking nurofen whilst pregnant (no idea why) but it's ok to take paracetamol. Have you tried gargling with salt water too, that might help ease the pain.

i have some aloclair mouthwash for ulcers and that's helping too at the moment.

Hi sweetie. Definitely stay away from ibuprofen if you can help it as it can have adverse effects on fertility and possible implantation. Paracetamol is fine.

i'm having to take ibuprofen and paracetamol at the moment to take the pain away hopefully it will go away soon.
