Panicking!

This is an odd one as I know lots of you ladies would rather be early than late, but I really need another few days before I will feel ready for baby. Flat isn't clean and I just need to get the last bits sorted. But it's causing me to get really fretful about whether I'm going into labour etc. and I can't sleep at night cos I'm worried about my waters breaking. I really feel like bump has dropped loads today and I'm just wondering whether I will have much warning that I will be going into labour? First baby so hoping that I will have lots of early signs!

Serves me right for being so disorganised and last minute I suppose!!

Oh, and here's my 'symptoms':

- lots and lots of wind! (tmi!)
- frequent bowel mvts (again, tmi!)
- achy bump
- period pains
- loads more discharge

Please stay put a few more days baby!!

I understand completely, my oh went to his grandads funeral last week and i,d have been in real trouble if I went into labour then coz he was about 40 mins away and the only people who could have the boys were there too.
I was worrying for days and thought things were happening a few times, but i,m still here.

It's a horrible feeling, I can't wait to meet my baby but I just want things to be ready and to feel relaxed. I guess nothing I do will change when I go into labour, so I might as well stop worrying and just try and get through the list as quickly as I can! x

Thats the only thing you can do. I think even the most prepared person feels totaly unprepared at some point, coz it,s something you,ve never done before. Also i,ve had all them symptoms for over a week now so you may have plenty of time xx

I understand this feeling too! I'm still working and as I work for myself need to clear the decks before I can stop and relax before baby arrives. My friend who was supposed to be due on the same day as me had her little girl on Friday and I went into panic because I need to go the full 40 weeks. I've worked all weekend trying to get everything finished! PLEASE STAY PUT FOR 10 MORE DAYS LITTLE MAN!

Real signs of baby. Lots more aches and pains (but that could be to do with all the cleaning I've been

Yup, that's why I've been running late too - I work for myself, still a few loose ends to tie up!! Let's hope we both go over so we have a bit of chill time x
