Morning all :)

So I had the worst sleep last night I had new pains that I have not experienced before, they kept be awake half the night and I wondered if anyone else has had anything similar?

It felt like a really bad stitch that you get from exercising, except it would run down the whole right side of my stomah and then I would wake up again and it would be down the whole left side of my stomach. Today my tummy is quite tender and achey and it was slightly sore just walking up stairs etc today.

I can't help worrying that something is wrong:-(

I had those quite a lot, they were just stretching pains with me. If you are worried call your mw xx

Yeah I still get em at 22 weeks, just on one side now, trying the biooil but I don't think it helps that much.

I just rung my midwife team and they said with pains like this so early in pregnancy I have to go to A&E :(

Best to be on the safe side. Fingers crossed you are both ok xx

Oh NO, I really hope everything is okay Celene, I am crossing my fingers for you :(

I'm sure it's just to be on the safe side , All the best I do hope all is well xx

i wouldnt worry too much midwifes are notoriuos for overreacting. it sounds like stretching ive had them from as early as you and still get them now.

Hello,

I went to A& E and they just tested for unrine infection and he pushed my stomach to see where it hurt etc. He did say you will get to see if the heartbeat is still there when you next go to your midwife that kind of threw be a bit.
He thinks I am just having all my ligaments stretching at once where as noramlly it will start on one side and then move around and stretch on the other side. I have gone home to rest anyway as I am really sore.
I am sure it's all fine, midwife just got me a bit worried when they said to go to A&E, but I know it's just to be safe.

Hope you all have a good weekend :) xxx

YAY glad to hear everything is fine, if u really want you can buy one of those doppler devices, I haven't because I think it would make me paranoid if I couldn't find a heartbeat. But yeah i had some serious stretching a week ago, I am just trying to deal, but I am no longer sore. Have a chocolate bar that might help :)

Thanks, I have been tempted to get a doppler after today. But I am the same if I couldn't find heartbeat it would make me stress even more. I hope they use doppler at my MW appointment nxt Friday?:) x

They will do, i think that's your 1st appt with the doppler, pregnancy brain does forget at 22weeks but I've had one with the doppler that must have been at 16 weeks

Glad to hear hospital went okay! I'm sure it's just stretching pains, I recall getting really bad pains earlier on in pregnancy and I worried myself sick about it! xx

I get these quite abit!

Glad all is well! x
