Glad its not just me whos been getting them (:
Puts my mind at rest a bit

Ive been getting this too like someone sticking pins in my cervix, its not nice and ive been getting worried. :(

I also get mine when I move to suddenly or get up from the sofa.
But seen as alot of people seem to be getting them I dont think theres anything to really worry about (:

I had some pains the other night but i googled it and it said it is common at this stage in pregnancy. Sorry can't remember the cause but sounds like nothing to get too worried about.

I just googled it, and found this (:

'During the third or fourth month of pregnancy, women frequently get a sharp stabbing pain in their groin or to one side. It may come on at sudden intervals, might be worse if you suddenly get up, stretch or move and it might disappear then reappear a few days later. It can be really worrying to suddenly get pains like this, but usually it's due to the ligaments or muscles around your uterus in your pelvis stretch and thicken as they support your growing baby. '

they're annoying as hell.. i read somwhere they only last for like 3 days.. but mine have been for like 6 now.. hurts when i lie down or shuffle in bed.. grrrr

Totally normal honey. I've had them loads, and still get them now!

Yep, nothing to worry about. I had those too. Along with all manner of strange aches, niggles and twinges. For a while there I had a really painful bum cheek on one side, that was pretty irritating . Now it's my lower ribs that feel tender and sore, I guess that is just them opening up to make way for my expanding uterus.

When you think about how much is going on inside you (all that stretching and things being shunted about) it's not surprising we experience discomfort at times!
