Painful sneezing?!

It really hurts down deep in my belly when I sneeze. Any ideas what it could be?

could just be you tensing your stomach as you sneeze as you sub conciously worry you will harm baby.

I get this, feels like I have pulled a muscle, flipping hurts! I have found that if I just let the sneeze out (but messy but hey!) instead of repressing it, it lets up on my tummy muscles and doesn't hurt!

i had the same too!

everytime i sneezed i felt like i was going to blow the baby out so i think i used to tense up much more than normal.

i've started to relax now and it doesn't hurt anymore so just go with it and i'm sure it will clear up.

Yes, yes, yes! I thought that this was just me! I always feel like my womb contracts painfully when I sneeze - ow!

I don't think I tense up more than normal though?

to be honest it has always hurt when i sneeze,
my OH thinks its funny that i go aaaaaaCHOOOOOWCH every time i sneeze

I think im just more aware of it now because i sneeze so damn hard sometimes the baby must be doing somersaults in there!

hello, yes i feel exactly the same! every since i got pregnant i haven't stopped sneezing! and it bloody hurts! as one of the other ladies said just let it out nice and messy lol! (i just sneezed on my keyboard )

I sneezed twice in bed last night, and both times it was agony - just like pulling a muscle. I think it's normal though - well it must be coz it sounds like it's happening to lots of us

yeah me too
i did it last nite and it really hurt! DH thought something bad was happening. Glad i'm not weird
