Hiya just wondering does anyone else get this or know what it could be?

When i walk my daughter to school im getting bad sharp pains in the sides of my bump and lower bump, i have to hold my tummy and then i look silly  its only 0.5 miles there and 0.5miles bk, its up hill there and down hill back. And also i get dizzy once i get to the school aswell even tho i eat and drink before i leave?! Thanks x

i remember getting pain like that, once i settled down it went not long after. I dont think its much to worry about but If you are worried ring the midwife hun just to put your mind at ease. I get dizzy all the time, also if i've eaten. My blood presser is a little low so your may be the same but its nothing to worry about hun. x

I did think its normal but theres a woman that looks as though she is bout 30weeks or more and she waddles up the school and back and she seems fine lol i want to be like that! Ill be 36weeks just before the schools break up for the 6weeks and i dont know how the hell im walking to the school and back, ill prob go into early labour haha x

Ah your baby might be a bit on the large side? Or it could just be stretching pains. I know it's gonna be awfull in a couple of months, i'm 2 weeks behind you and dreading the nursery run!!! 1 cos of big bump, 2 cos of the weather! But i'm going to miss being pregnant though as it's my last. I'm sure you'll be fine hun. x

Well the nursey teacher said my bumps small for how long iv got left yet i think im big, and yea my baby is planned to be big on my chart it says between 7 and 9lb but my daughter was 9lb 3oz and im having a growth scan at 38weeks and if hes big im going to be induced at "term" with a Dr present. I got midwife in 2weeks so i might just ask her if its all normal :) x

I got that too. Sometimes I would have to stop on the pavement and hold my bump too. It just seems to have gone thought now, which is strange cos I am bigger!?!

I bought a support band from mothercare which was quite good x

Well that might just be it then, i also was gonna suggest a baby band/belt you can also get them from new look, I've not tried them yet but will be doing this pregnancy. Yea the midwife should tell you all you need to know. I'll just take a look at your bump pic and let you know if i think your big your or not. x

yea i might try and get a bump band at the weekend!! thanks x

im so glad you put this up i get this i am very uncomfy when i walk for more than ten mins i have a really big tummy more fat than baby and i thought this may be why

i get these pains too but baby is big according to the fundal measurements so i've always put it down to that because i do find her quite heavy haha!
my mum did say to me i could be the muscles in my tummy being pulled down by her that gives me the pains...
