Pain in left side?

If I'm walking around for a while (like today.. shopping) I get a stitch-like pain in my left side :/ Was very worried when I first got it because I thought of ectopic but then it went after I sat down, and when it happened today, again it went when I sat down.

Any ideas?

Could be ligament pain, your ligaments will be starting to stretch now probably. It's called round ligament pain, although generally it starts about 14-16 weeks I had it start about 12 weeks this time. Can't really remember with my first but I think it started about 13 weeks with her. I actually called my midwife because I was so worried when I had my first but she assured me it was just stretching pain. If it's persistent it needs to be checked though.

Thanks hun, yeah it's not persistent. It lasts for about 5 minutes if I'm still standing up/walking around.
But goes away if I sit down. And like I said in my above post, it's only happened twice. Once yesterday and once today xxx

Def sounds like ligament pain, I have been having it this last week - started a thread about it in 2nd Tri actually

I get it if i get up too quickly from sitting as well!

Thanks ladies,
Guess what.. I had it in my right side today :L but only for like 5 seconds whilst sitting down.
Mums checked my belly and it's confirmed.. I do have stretchmarks appearing already
Definitely my insides stretching then!

I used to get an awful pain on my right side can only explain like an elastic band stretching then the ping was the sharp pain! Must of been ligaments as been ok from about 16 weeks xx
